We had a great long weekend in this Rome apartment! The owner was wonderful to work with, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. He actually went above and beyond to help us out with a few things. The apartment had plenty of room for the 3 of us and had a great balcony. We really enjoyed the location - we were able to walk around the city very easily - the Vatican was about 20 minutes walking. The longest walk we did was to the Coliseum and that took about 30 minutes. There's a great outdoor market right next door where we were able to get food to cook dinner in a night or two, as well as multiple restaurants and coffee shops right outside. We would definitely stay here again and/or recommend it to our friends if they are ever traveling to Rome

We spent 3 nights at the owner's property and had a wonderful time. Apart from no elevator in the building, we found everything else perfect. We loved the apartment and the way it was furnished - it had everything we needed and it looked really good too. Some very minor issues with the heating were promptly sorted out by the owner. This is a great location, everything is close, so no need for public transportation to main tourist spots. Good food, shopping and great atmosphere is virtually at your doorstep and you really get a feel for how the locals live (still wondering where they park their cars :)) We would recomment this apartment to anyone who doesn't have problems with climbing stairs and is traveling light. It is a pretty steep way up to the 5th floor, but once you get there it's all worth it. We would go back anytime.

The pictures don't do justice to the actual view from the balcony, after a long day of sightseeing we were looking forward to sitting on the balcony to drink a glass of wine and relax. The location is perfect for shopping and sightseeing since the apt is right around the corner from Via Del Corso and only a few blocks from the Spanish Steps. We walked everywhere (Vatican, colosseum, all the famous piazzas, Borghese gardens and to my daughter's apartment in the Trastevere area). After a few days we realized we have the Metro right next to the Spanish steps and buses/taxis are right around the corner on Via del Corso so even if you do not feel like walking transportation is easily accessed. We even got used to the stairs to the 5th floor since we were so looking forward to sit in the balcony to unwind. Actually being on the 5th floor made it quiet and peaceful to sleep at night even though we were right in the heart of Rome. Pack light and you'll have no problems, we had large suitcases and I would rent this property again.

Wonderful apartment!! Located in the best part of Rome, just right down the street from the Spanish Steps, lots of high end stores, and restaurants. The Spagna metro station is located at the Spanish Steps, but Rome is walkable anywhere!! We were four young females, so this location was ideal for us! The apartment is young, hip and modern with great amenities. Take a guided tour to the Vatican, it was definitely the best part of our trip! If you have troubles climbing stairs then beware of the steps, but it wasn't that bad as it is not steep at all. The owner is amazing to deal with, super friendly and always answers emails and questions right away. Honest and reliable, his family lives right next door if you need anything! I would recommend this apartment to anyone if you want to stay in one of the best spots in Rome!!

I cannot recommend this apartment enough! The location is perfect -- literally steps away from the Spanish Steps and very close to high end shopping and great restaurants. The apartment itself is lovely -- very bright and cheerful, equipped with all the amenities and a great view from the balcony. We were two girls in our 30's and the apartment was perfect for us. Please note that the apartment is on the 5th floor (with no elevator), which is 10 flights of stairs, so it is definitely a hike to get up. But well worth it once you get to the top! the owner lives right next door and is readily available to answer any questions. I would recommend this apartment to anyone and would stay there again. It was fantastic!

The biggest challenge was climbing 100 steps from via Leoncino to the apartment, but I quickly got used to that...the reward, a great place on the top floor, complete with terrace, was worth it! The apt is modern, and was pristine upon our arrival. Everything worked great, good water pressure, hot water was never a problem, etc, morning coffie and evening wine and cheese on the terrace became a ritual I will always remember. The view includes the beautiful dome of St. Charles. The owner was very gracious and gave us a wonderful welcome to Rome. The location is great, within walking distance to many historical sites. Neighbours include high end stores (Fendi and Ferrari are both across the street...if you're into that), grocery store close by, and lots of great restaurants in the neighborhood.

it was just wonderful. Well located (close to the Subway Station) and lots of sights nearby. The place was clean, comfortable and just right. I loved the balcony, and the stair climbing was no problem at all. I'd recommend this place for a short or long-term stay.

My husband and I rented Leoncino flat for our one year anniversary trip. We unwittingly picked the best location in a beautiful building in a great apartment. The apt was easy to find from Termini station (where you arrive from when flying into FCO). The place was clean, bright, and all ready for us to use. The views are wonderful and the location of the building could not have been better. After walking all over Rome we realized that if we could do it all again we would want to stay in the same area of town. Beautiful narrow cobble stone streets, amazing places to eat, and wonderful shopping. The stairs gave us a work out but you eventually get used to it. We needed extra exercise with the amount of pasta we were eating. The best part of this place was the coffee shops and bakeries directly outside the building, it's central location to everything (we walked EVERYWHERE), and the feeling that you were truely submerged into the wonderful Italian lifestyle.

Stayed for 6 nights and the apartment was perfect. Modern and clean with great terrace for a few glasses of vino. Very quiet at night and comfortable beds and good bathroom. Best of all was the location, very central to most of the main attractions. The steps were a bit tough after a day of walking but certainly wouldn't put me off staying there again. The owner was great to deal with and the apartment was exactly as advertised. Try Leoncino Pizziera next door for great traditional meals. Highly recommend this apartment and will stay again if we get back to Rome

The owner and his family took great care of us. We met to check in right when they promised, offered suggestions and help when needed. Great to sit on the balcony and enjoy some wine, etc. I would stay there again for sure. Also, the steps never bothered us as it was nice to burn some of the local food off each day.

The owners are very accomodating and the upgrades to the apartment are fantastic. The location is a short walk to the Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Vatican City. Be informed that it is on the 5th floor so you will get a little excercise...but hey is there any better way to work off the pasta and vino?
